Exactly 55 years after, President Goodluck Jonathan on
Monday conferred a national award on Nigeria national flag designer, Pa Taiwo Akinkunmi,
the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) award equivalent to that
of a Special Assistant to the President. He also placed him (Pa Akinkunmi) on a
life time salary.
